▷ born the only pup of two rogue lovers. they raised her for most of her life until she was sent out on a hunting mission on her own. idris stumbled across some humans who were fishing off of the river. she sneaked up on the humans, stealing a large fish they had caught, though the human caught her in the action and snatched the fish, causing idris to slip and get a fish hook lodged in her lip. she returned home empty and got scolded for it. her parents sent her back out to actually hunt something. idris ran off, finding a herd of elk. she pondered for a moment and began to walk away from the elk, heading off to explore the area instead. she came across a mother possum who had gotten stuck in a bear trap, it looked like she's been laying there for a while. idris noticed something moving in the pouch of the possum to see a baby slowly emerge. the baby possum looked up to idris and almost instantly imprinted on her. idris felt bad for the young possum. as she was leaning over to pick it up, her father came out of nowhere, snarling at her and asking what was taking her so long. then her father spotted the baby possum who had been hiding behind idris's feet. her father lunged toward the baby, though idris blocked him with her shoulder then managed to bite his nose. while her father was standing there in shock, idris took that chance to put the baby possum on her back and bolt off, knowing her father couldn't follow since the bite to the nose damaged his sniffer. over time idris grew more and more protective of the possum who she named owen. she protects him like he was her son. idris plans to never return home, she'll forever be a thief on the run.
