After Jersyi was born, her mother died after giving birth to her. Her father hated Jersyi for it, he blamed her for her death. Her father wanted nothing to do with the cub, so he left her out in the open, he hoped hyenas or vultures would get to her to kill the defenseless cub. Though luckily for Jersyi a rogue lioness mother came along and took Jersyi in as her own. The lioness had witnessed everything that Jersyi's father did and felt sympathy for the cub.
Jersyi grew up along the cubs of the lioness, thinking they were her actual family, even though they were lighter pelted compared to her. As the cubs got older, the mother decided it was time to explain to Jersyi. Jersyi was shocked that her own father wanted nothing to do with her. Though she doesn't hold grudges. Within a few years, all of the mothers cubs went out on there own, to live their own life.
Despite her past, she is a very kind and generous lion.
